Obama's Concert events, true leadership
Okay, okay. So I watched some of the concert today. Basically because I was curious and they had Stevie Wonder and Denzell Washington among other stars that I like. Plus, HBO (which I do not subscribe to) opened up their channel for all to see, which I thought was great. As I watched, I couldn't help but notice all the smiling faces in the crowd, some famous, but mostly just normal everyday hard-working citizens that are hoping for a brighter future. So, Mr. President-elect, I am warming up to you. Although we still have one major difference (read the blog before this one), I am watching closely along with millions of other Americans to see if you really meant everything you said during your campaign. Can you really turn this country around and get us working again, and keep companies from folding? I truly hope so. I'm sorry to be so pessimistic, but I will believe it when I see it. I know that Mr. Obama cannot solve all our problems, but returning this nation to a prosperous one again is not an easy task. Mr. Obama appeals to many people because he is charismatic, but I still believe that our news media made him out to be some sort of superstar, and the man himself, from what I've read about him, would be the first to tell you that he is not. So I do admire his humility. Keep this in mind, it is from the Bible. Psalm 164:3 (New International Version) Don't put your trust in human leaders. Don't trust people. They can't save you. What this is saying is that although I respect our new leader, and will be praying for him, the only person you can truly trust according to God is God alone (Jesus), for salvation truly comes from above. God is still in control and directs all that happens in this world. And, yes, evil truly exist in this world and will continue to do so until our Lord returns to estabish his kingdom on this earth. What a glorious day that will be! Amen.

Our New President
I'm trying to get into all the festivites of next Tuesday, but I am having trouble. Obama was not my candidate. Don't get me wrong, I like the man. It's just that I can't fully support him because he allows abortions. I will not support any candidate of any office who supports abortion. I do hope that he keeps his promise and get this country going again by creating jobs, and he has a tremendous job ahead of him. So I support him in that area. So I will follow Barrack Obama very closely. I truly hopes that he is just not another full of baloney politician that made many promises just to get elected. He seems to be sincere. Only time will tell.
